.SH DESCRIPTION
.I Mkpaqfs
copies files from the file tree
.I source
(default
.BR . )
to the
.IR paqfs (4)
file system archive
.IR file .
.PP
The files and directory structure are divided into
.I blocksize
(default
.BR 4096 )
byte blocks.
Larger blocks make large files more compact but take longer to access.
.I Blocksize
must be in the range of 512 bytes to 52K bytes.
If the
.B -u
option is set, the blocks are not compressed.
Otherwise each block is compressed using the
.IR flate (2)
compression algorithm.
The
.B -l
option embeds a label of up to 32 bytes within the file header and may be
useful for identifying the file system.
