In case of failure, ObInsertObject itself dereferences the object, so calling ObDereferenceObject one more time in the failure handler is redundant. - Remove ObDereferenceObject call from CmpCreateRegistryRoot in case ObInsertObject fails. - Add missing RootKey dereference if CmpCreateRegistryRoot failed to get the key cell (KeyCell).
